Capital One Bank is seeking damages on an allegedly open account

GRETNA – Capital One Bank is seeking damages for an allegedly open account from a Jefferson Parish woman.

Capital One Bank filed a suit against Stephanie M. Galliano in the 24th Judicial District Court on July 19.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant for her personal use, in which the defendant agreed to make payments on the balance of the credit card. The suit states that the defendant has thus failed to pay for more than $7,500 worth of charges to the card.

The defendant is accused of open account through her failure to pay off the balance of the card.

The plaintiff is seeking $7,528.01 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch, Randall C. Roth and Blake G. Guidry of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans. The case has been assigned to Division P Judge Lee V. Faulkner Jr.
