White Star Commercial Inc. claims it was not paid for fire sprinkler work

NEW ORLEANS – A contractor claims that it was not fully paid for work completed.

White Star Commercial Inc. filed a suit against Trimark Realty LLC, doing business as 1st and 10 Sports Bar and or doing business as Uptown Sports Bar, Lisa Walters and Mark Morad in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on July 27.

According to the claim, the defendants contracted the plaintiff to complete repairs and completion of a fire sprinkler system on Feb. 26, 2015. The suit states that despite completing the work satisfactorily and on time, the plaintiff has not been paid.

The defendants are accused of breach of contract through failing to pay the plaintiff for the work completed.

The plaintiff is seeking $16,630 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by David C. Clement of Clement Gates and May in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Tiffany G. Chase.
