Orleans Parish resident alleges he is owed $50,000 for unpaid promissory note

NEW ORLEANS – An Orleans Parish man is seeking damages for an alleged breach of promissory note.

Kenneth Lobell filed a suit against Jonathan E. Weber in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court.

According to the claim, the plaintiff suffered personal damages when the defendant's father failed to fulfill a promissory note for $50,000. The suit states the defendant is the guarantor of the promissory note.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract through failing to pay the promissory note in a timely manner.

The plaintiff is seeking $50,000 in damages. He is represented by Matthew L. Pepper of The Woodlands, Texas.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Paula A. Brown.
