Woman claims security guard pushed her through window at Rouses Supermarket

NEW ORLEANS – A woman claims that she was pushed through the window at a supermarket.

Erica Reeder filed a suit against ABC insurance company, Rouses Enterprises LLC and John Doe in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court.

According to the claim, the plaintiff was at the Rouses Supermarket located at 4001 General DeGaulle Drive on April 22, 2015, when the incident occurred. The suit states that the plaintiff was injured when she was pushed through a window by a security guard on the premises.

The defendants are accused of negligence through failing to properly train or supervise employees and allowing the existence of unsafe conditions on the property.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. She is represented by Bobby G. Hawkins and Anthony D. Irpino of New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Paula A. Brown.
