Bank of America is seeking damages for an allegedly open account

GRETNA – Bank of America is seeking more than $9,000 in damages.

Bank of America filed a suit against Colleen E. Formanek in the 24th Judicial District Court on Sept. 1.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit account to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant has yet to pay back the balance of more than $9,000 to the plaintiff.

The defendant is accused of open account.

The plaintiff is seeking $9,540.06 damages. It is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch, Randall C. Roth and Blake J. Guidry of Couch, Conville and Blitt in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius E. Regan.
