GRETNA – A woman allegedly slipped and fell in a Walmart store.
Gloria Ward filed suit against Walmart Louisiana LLC and Walmart Stores Inc. in the 24th Judicial District Court on March 4.
According to the claim, the plaintiff was caused personal injury on March 9, 2015, while at the Walmart store number 989. The suit states that the plaintiff was injured when she was slipped and fell while in the store.
The defendant is accused of negligence through failing to clean the premises, taking the necessary actions to avoid such incidents and overall negligence in relation to the treatment of the situation.
The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. She is represented by Robert B. Haik.
