GRETNA – A construction company is seeking damages for breach of contract.
MLM Construction LLC filed a suit against Elizabeth Wood in the 24th Judicial District Court on Sept. 9.
According to the claim, the plaintiff and defendant entered into an agreement for the completion of work on a property located at 425 Orion Ave. The suit states that the plaintiff completed the work that it was contracted to do, but that the defendant has made a payment for the work done. The defendant allegedly owes more than $51,000 to the plaintiff.
The defendant is accused of breach of contract through failure to pay.
The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Christopher A. Meeks.
The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Stephen C. Grefer.
