NEW ORLEANS – A woman is seeking damages, claiming that she slipped and fell in a Walmart.
Cheryl Every filed a suit against Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and ABC insurance company in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court.
According to the claim, the plaintiff was a guest at the Walmart located at 4001 Behrman Place on June 24, 2015 when the incident occurred. The suit states that the plaintiff was caused to slip and fall when she encountered a red liquid that had been left on the store's floor.
The defendant is accused of negligence.
The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Jason M. Baer and Rajan Pandit.
