NEW ORLEANS – A woman claims that she slipped and fell on a wet substance while walking in Tulane Towers.

Kayla D. White filed a suit against 2601 LLC and Bradley Martin in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court.

According to the claim, the plaintiff was caused damages while at the defendant's property, located at 2601 Tulane Ave., on March 6, 2015. The suit states that the plaintiff was walking in the lobby when she encountered a liquid on the ground, lost her balance and fell.

The defendants are accused of negligence and acts of omission through failing to maintain the premises in a safe manner.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. She is represented by Troy R. Keller of Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Piper D. Griffin.
