Dwyer Cambre & Suffern alleges it is owed more than $72,000 for services it provided

NEW ORLEANS – A Metairie law firm alleges it was not paid for the legal services it provided to an Orleans Parish man.

Dwyer Cambre & Suffern APLC filed a suit against Edwin Palmer in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Sept. 19.

According to the claim, the defendant hired the plaintiff to provide legal services. The suit states that the plaintiff has not yet received the more than $72,000 owed to them.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $72,531.11 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Edward T. Suffern Jr. and Mark A. Mantooth of Dwyer Cambre & Suffern in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge Sidney H. Cates IV.
