Former Delgado Community College student alleged to still owe fees

GRETNA – Delgado Community College is seeking damages for alleged breach of promissory note.

The Louisiana Community and Technical College System through Delgado Community College filed a suit against Setirah Bercy in the 24th Judicial District Court.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for a promissory from the defendant that was allegedly never fulfilled. The suit states that the promissory note was for the amount of more than $1,100.

The defendant is accused of breach of promissory note.

The plaintiff is seeking $1,115.75 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Scott L. Smith Jr. of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John J. Molaison Jr.
