American Express Bank claims that a customer never paid off her credit card

GRETNA – American Express Bank is seeking more than $3,400 from a Jefferson Parish resident.

American Express Bank FSB filed a suit against Margaret Rodgers in the 24th Judicial District Court.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant accumulated more than $3,400 in charges to the card and has yet failed to pay off this open account.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $3,416.71 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch, Randall C. Roth and Blake J. Guidry of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle M. Taylor.
