Discover Bank alleges credit cardholder owes more than $1,000

GRETNA – Discover Bank is seeking more than $1,000 for an allegedly open account.

Discover Bank filed a suit against Gordon I. Gamble Jr. in the 24th Judicial District Court.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card account to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant used the account to accumulate more than $1,300 in charges and has failed to pay off the balance.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $1,376.79 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch, Randall C. Roth and Blake J. Guidry of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Donald A. Rowan Jr.
