GRETNA – A couple is seeking damages over claims that the negligence of the surgeons resulted in debilitating injuries to the wife.
Carol Sue Graham Schexnaydre and Ronald P. Schexnaydre filed a suit against Robert C. Dawson III, M.D. and Frank Culicchia, M.D. in the 24th Judicial District Court on Sept. 21.
According to the claim, Carol Sue Graham Schexnaydre had a surgery performed by the defendants at West Jefferson Medical Center on Sept. 29, 2015. The suit states that due to breach in the standard of care, the plaintiff was caused to suffer from debilitating injuries.
The defendant is accused of breach of the standard of care and negligence through failing to complete the procedure in the proper manner.
The plaintiffs are seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiffs are representing themselves.
