Material Handling Technologies Inc. alleges it was not paid for subcontract work

SHREVEPORT – A North Carolina subcontractor alleges a Georgia company and a Springhill company did not pay it for work performed on a Webster Parish project.

Material Handling Technologies Inc. filed a complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana, Shreveport Division against Southland Process Group LLC and IntegriCo Composites Inc. alleging unjust enrichment.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in April 2015, Southland subcontracted plaintiff to provide goods and services for a portion of IntegriCo's work on a construction project. The plaintiff alleges was not paid for the goods and services it provided to defendants' project in the sum amount of $82,635. The plaintiff holds Southland Process Group LLC and IntegriCo Composites Inc. responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to make payment for the outstanding amount due.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for the principal amount of $82,635, plus interest, all costs incurred for this action, attorneys’ fees and all other relief to which it may be entitled.
