Daddy's Hands Construction alleges it is owed more than $17,000

NEW ORLEANS – A construction company is seeking damages, claiming that it is owed more than $17,000.

Daddy's Hands Construction LLC filed a suit against Big Brass Properties LLC, Christopher Seth Dunlap and Roa R. Dunlap in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court.

According to the claim, the plaintiff and defendant were involved in a professional manner in 2015. The suit states that the plaintiff filed invoices to the defendants but that the defendants has failed to make payment for the open account of more than $17,000.

The defendants are accused of breach of contract and unjust enrichment.

The plaintiff is seeking $17,975.61 in damages. It is represented by Justin M. Chopin of Chopin Law Firm of New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Kern A. Reese.
