Nicholls State University alleges former student maintains an open account

NEW ORLEANS – Nicholls State University is seeking damages for an alleged open account.

The Louisiana Community and Technical College system board of supervisors through Nicholls State University filed a suit against Benjamin C. White in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court.

According to the claim, the defendant was a student during the Spring 2012 semester and has not paid his fees.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $2,587.60 in damages. It is represented by Wendy Ramnarine of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Paulette R. Irons.
