BATON ROUGE — A lighting equipment provider is suing Global Synthetics Environmental LLC d/b/a Geo-Surfaces, a contractor, citing alleged failure to pay for purchased products.
Qualite Sports Lighting LLC filed a complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana against Global Synthetics Environmental LLC d/b/a Geo-Surfaces alleging that the contractor failed to comply with their contractual agreement.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that, on Jan. 16, it provided equipment, design services and/or materials and products to defendant Geo-Surfaces in the sum amount of $262,984 for a project in Edmund, Oklahoma. The plaintiff holds Global Synthetics Environmental LLC d/b/a Geo-Surfaces responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to make payment on the outstanding balance that remains due and owing.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for damages amounting to $262,984, plus interest and such other relief as the court deems just and equitable.
