NEW ORLEANS – A woman claims that she was injured while walking to her seat on a bus.
Anna Solomon filed a suit against Regional Transit Authority, Transdev Services Inc. and John Doe in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Sept. 30.
According to the claim, the plaintiff was a passenger on an RTA bus that was being driven by the Doe defendant on Annunciation Street. The suit states that the plaintiff was caused damages when she was walking to her seat and the bus lurched violently, causing the plaintiff to fall.
The defendants are accused of negligence.
The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. She is represented by Benjamin J. Birdsall Jr. and Benjamin J. Birdsall III of the Birdsall Law Firm in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Paulette R. Irons.
