Sorrento Lumber Co. alleges it is owed more than $7,000 for goods

NEW ORLEANS – A lumber company claims that it is owed more than $7,000 for labor and materials it provided to an Orleans Parish business.

Sorrento Lumber Co. Inc. filed a suit against Mushatt Developing LLC, Ronald Washington, individually as personal guarantee, John Robert Woolf Jr. and Kim Clark Woolf in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued goods to the defendants that were valued at more than $7,000. The suit states that the defendants have failed to pay for the goods.

The defendants are accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $7,852.17 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Dwight D. Poirrier of Gonzales.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Christopher J. Bruno.
