American Express Centurion Bank claims that a customer owes more than $24,000

GRETNA – American Express is seeking more than $24,000 in damages.

American Express Centurion Bank filed a suit against Raymond J. Pecot in the 24th Judicial District Court on Oct. 10.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant used the credit card to make more than $24,000 in purchases and has failed to pay it off.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $24,206.18 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Edward F. Bukaty III and Warren W. Wingerter Jr. of Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Stephen D. Enright Jr.
