Arkansas Federal Credit Union alleges credit card is in default

GRETNA – A federal credit union is seeking damages for an allegedly open account.

Arkansas Best Federal Credit Union filed a suit against Melinda Marie Simoneaux, also known as Findley, in the 24th Judicial District Court on Oct. 6.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit agreement to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant accumulated more than $1,000 and has failed to pay off the balance.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $1,647.03 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by George M. Snellings of Nelson, Zentner, Sartor & Snellings of Monroe.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Stephen D. Enright Jr.
