A couple claims that a property which they were sold was in poor condition

NEW ORLEANS – A couple claims that the house that they were sold was in worse condition than they were led to believe.

Anna Marie Koch Tusa and Anthony J. Tusa Jr. filed a suit against Ann Wimsatt Vanlamsweerde and Carl Vanlamsweerde in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Oct. 13.

According to the claim, the plaintiffs purchased a property from the defendant on July 7. The suit states that the defendant failed to disclose truthful information about the condition of the roof, and the plaintiffs are entitled to a reduction the purchase price due to the defendants' lack of disclosure.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract against the plaintiffs.

The plaintiff are seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiffs are represented by Eric Oliver Person.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Kern A. Reese.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case number 16-10226.
