NEW ORLEANS — American Express Bank is seeking more than $26,000.
American Express Bank FSB filed a suit against Robert E. Brooks in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Oct. 3.
According to the claim, the plaintiff issued the defendant a Business Gold Rewards credit card. The suit states that the defendant used the card to make more than $26,000 in charges and has failed to make payment on the balance.
The defendant is accused of an open account.
The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Edward J. Bukaty III.
The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Regina Bartholomew Woods.
