Woman claims she was injured on shuttle bus after it accelerated without warning

GRETNA – A woman claims that negligence of a shuttle bus driver resulted in her injury.

Brooke Adams filed a suit against New South Parking and Central Parking System of Louisiana LLC, a general partner of New South Parking in the 24th Judicial District Court on Oct. 14.

According to the claim, the plaintiff was on a shuttle bus, owned and operated by the defendants, on Oct. 24, 2015, when the incident occurred. The suit states that the shuttle accelerated without warning and caused the plaintiff to fall and be injured.

The defendants are accused of negligence through operation of a motor vehicle in a careless manner and negligence in training employees properly.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by William F. Mura Jr. and Warren A. Forstall Jr. in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry G. Sullivan Jr.
