Property owner accuses Davie Shoring Inc. of negligent work

GRETNA – A man claims that a shoring corporation failed to complete the work it was paid to do in a satisfactory manner.

Jason C. Cutrer filed a suit against Davie Shoring Inc. in the 24th Judicial District Court on Oct. 11.

According to the claim, the plaintiff contracted the defendant to complete elevation services on a site on June 22, 2015. The suit states that the defendant was delayed in finishing the job and then failed to complete the work to a satisfactory standard.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract through its negligence in completion of the work.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by A. Scott Tillery of Tillery & Tillery in Metairie

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Stephen D. Enright Jr.
