NEW ORLEANS – A woman claims that negligence was responsible for her slip and fall in Winn-Dixie.
Arthurine Jones filed a suit against Winn-Dixie and XYZ Insurance Company in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Sept. 30.
According to the claim, the plaintiff was caused injury on Sept. 30, 2015 when she slipped and fell on a liquid that had been left on the ground.
The defendant is accused of negligence through failing to properly clean the premises of the store or provide warning of the dangerous situation.
The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by James P. Johnson.
The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Ethel S. Julien.
