NEW ORLEANS – A woman claims that she was caused to fall at a Fresh Market due to negligence.
Miriam Jane Sere filed a suit against The Fresh Market Inc, Et Al. in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Jan. 27.
According to the claim, the plaintiff was a guest at the Fresh Market located at 338 Charles Ave. when the incident took place. The suit states that the plaintiff was caused personal injury when she tripped in the parking lot due to the fact that there was an uneven obstruction.
The defendant is accused of negligence through failing to remedy the situation or provide ample warning of the danger.
The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. She is represented by William J.Wegmann.
The case has been assigned to Division E Judge Clare Jupiter.
