Doctor alleges Stone Clinical Laboratories terminated him, did not honor contract

NEW ORLEANS – A doctor is seeking damages for breach of an employment contract.

Dr. Majid Moridani filed a suit against Stone Clinical Laboratories LLC in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Oct. 21.

According to the claim, the plaintiff and defendant entered into an employment contract in August. The suit states that his employment was terminated in September but the defendant did not give two months' notice or the wages due for those two months as per the terms of their contract.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by James F. Willeford and Reagan L. Toledano of Willeford & Toledano in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Kern A. Reese.
