Cajun Kids Outlet alleged to owe more than $47,000 for store rental

NEW ORLEANS – A limited liability company is accused of falling behind on rent to a shopping plaza.

Riverwalk Marketplace (New Orleans) LLC filed a suit against Nawlines Kids LLC, doing business as Cajun Kids Outlet, and Mohammed Y. Hamideh and Fayiza H. Ismah Manideh in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Oct. 21.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is the owner of The Outlet Collection at Riverwalk and leased a store to the defendants. The suit states that the defendants have failed to keep up with payments and now owes the plaintiff more than $47,000.

The defendants are accused of breach of contract against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Alysson J. Mills of Fishman Haygood LLP in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Paula A. Brown.
