GRETNA – A Jefferson Parish resident is alleged to owe on a credit card account.
Capital One Bank filed a suit against James J. Stahl in the 24th Judicial District Court on Oct. 12.
According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant used the credit card to make more than $2,300 in charges without paying off the balance.
The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.
The plaintiff is seeking $2,334.98 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch and Randall C. Roth of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.
