Jefferson Parish individual alleged to owe more than $3,000 on credit card

GRETNA – A Jefferson Parish resident is alleged to have fallen behind on payments for a credit card.

Portfolio Recovery Associates LLC filed a suit against Salvador J. Saia in the 24th Judicial District Court on Oct. 28.

According to the claim, Capital One issued the defendant a credit card. The suit states that the defendant has failed to make payment on the open account.

The defendant is accused of open account.

The plaintiff is seeking $3,541.32 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch and Randall C. Roth of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy A. Miller.
