Ordes Services LLC claims it is owed more than $190,000 for construction work

GRETNA – A St. Bernard Parish company alleges it was not paid for labor.

Ordes Services LLC filed a suit against Patriot Contracting LLC and Travelers Casualty and Surety Co. of North America in the 24th Judicial District Court on Nov. 4.

According to the claim, the plaintiff and defendant entered into an agreement in 2014 which the plaintiff provided labor and materials for electrical work on a construction project.

The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay the plaintiff what it is owed.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract.

The plaintiff is seeking $190,545.48 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Herman C. Hoffmann and Luke P. LaRocca of Simon, Peragine, Smith & Redfearn in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.
