Ceco Concrete Construction alleges it was not paid in full for construction work

NEW ORLEANS – A Missouri construction company alleges it was not paid in full for work on a New Orleans Project.

Ceco Concrete Construction LLC filed a suit against Federal Insurance Co., The Continental Insurance Co., Fidelity and Deposit Co. of Maryland, Zurich American Insurance Co. and Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Oct. 28.

According to the claim, the plaintiff and Skanska MAPP entered into an agreement for the completion of a government construction project and that the defendants were sureties. The suit states that the plaintiff completed the work agreed upon but has not been paid for the work.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract through failing to pay the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $98,694.32 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by John F. Olinde, Scott C. Barney and Mary W. Dale of Chaffe McCall of New Orleans

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge Sidney H. Cates IV.
