Woman alleges she was injured in slip and fall at leased property

NEW ORLEANS – A tenant at a New Orleans property alleges a hazardous condition caused her to slip and fall.

Diane Hansen, wife of/and Leslie Hendrickson filed a suit against Arch Specialty Insurance Co., Harbor Homeowners Association Inc. and Michael A. Coggins in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Oct. 31.

According to the claim, the plaintiff was a tenant at 500 Lake Marina Ave. No. 208 on Nov. 1, 2015, when the incident occurred. The suit states that the plaintiff was caused to slip and fall on a walkway due to a hazardous condition.

The defendants are accused of negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Leonard J. Cline and Evan F. Trestman of Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Kern A. Reese.
