Man alleges he was injured at Bourbon Street Pub when patron threw chair

NEW ORLEANS – A Georgia man claims that he was injured by another patron at a Bourbon Street bar.

Michael Lee filed a suit against Zane Tomlin, Justin Rock, Capricorn Productions Inc. and Scorpio Rising Inc. in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Oct. 25.

According to the claim, the plaintiff was at the Bourbon Street Pub, owned and operated by the defendants, on June 4 when the incident occurred. The suit states that while the plaintiff was in the venue, another customer threw a chair at the plaintiff, injuring him. The suit explains that the defendants failed to call 911 and instead removed the plaintiff from the premises.

The defendants are accused of negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Clarence F. Favret III, James C. Cronvich, Paul L. Carriere of Favret & Lea in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Paulette R. Irons.
