NEW ORLEANS – A restoration company alleges it was never paid for work done on a property in Orleans Parish.
Yazoo Restorations LLC filed a suit against Matthew Taylor in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Oct. 27.
According to the claim, the plaintiff and defendant entered into a verbal agreement for the completion of renovations at the defendant's house in July 2015. The suit states that the plaintiff delivered the services that it was contracted to do but have not been paid for its services.
The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.
The plaintiff is seeking $43,533.54 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Michael D. Letourneau of Murphy, Rogers, Sloss, Gambel and Tompkins in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Christopher J. Bruno.
