Man accused of owing balance on Synchrony Bank card

GRETNA – A debt collector alleges a Jefferson Parish individual owes on a credit card.

Portfolio Recovery Associates LLC filed a suit against Bennie Pickett in the 24th Judicial District Court on Nov. 4.

According to the claim, Synchrony Bank issued a credit account to the defendant that the defendant used to make more than $2,500 in charges. The suit states that the defendant has failed to make a payment on the balance.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $2,516.33 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch and Randall C. Roth of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle M. Taylor.
