More than $2,000 allegedly owed on Citibank card by resident

GRETNA – A Jefferson Parish resident is claimed to owe more than $2,000 on credit card.

Portfolio Recovery Associates LLC filed a suit against Brianne Nelson in the 24th Judicial District Court on Nov. 4.

According to the claim, Citibank issued an account to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant failed to pay back more than $2,600.

The defendant is accused of open account.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch and Randall C. Roth of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle M. Taylor.
