Portfolio Recovery seek more than $2,000 from Jefferson Parish man

GRETNA – A Jefferson Parish man is alleged to owe more than $2,000 on a credit card account.

Portfolio Recovery filed a suit against Mark M. Mulvihill in the 24th Judicial District Court on Nov. 4.

According to the claim, Citibank issued a credit account to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant failed to pay back the balance that was accumulated on the account, which is more than $2,000.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $2,434.86 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch and Randall C. Roth of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Michael P. Mentz.
