Parkcrest Builders LLC alleged to have not paid Coastal Insulation for project work

GRETNA – A Florida company alleges an East Baton Rouge Parish company did not pay it for construction work.

Builder Services Group Inc., doing business as Coastal Insulation, filed a suit against Parkcrest Builders LLC and Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. in the 24th Judicial District Court on Dec. 9.

According to the claim, the plaintiff performed services for Parkcrest Builders which it was never paid for on a Housing Authority of New Orleans project. The plaintiff claims that it is owed more than $44,000 for their services.

The defendants are accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $44,840.42 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Blake E. Oakes of the Oakes Law Firm in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Stephen C. Grefer.
