NEW ORLEANS – A subcontractor is seeking damages, claiming that it was never paid for work it completed at a construction site.
Epoxy-It LLC filed a suit against CDW Services LLC and SureTec Insurance Co. in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Dec. 9, 2016.
According to the claim, the plaintiff was a subcontractor on a project commissioned by the defendant. The suit states that the defendant failed to pay the plaintiff more than $22,000.
The defendant is accused of breach of contract.
The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The company is represented by David Bateman of the Bateman Law Firm in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division G Judge Robin Giarrusso.
