Orleans Parish woman claims she was not paid for buyout of retail store

NEW ORLEANS – An Orleans Parish woman is seeking damages for breach of agreement in the buyout of a retail store.

Juley Thuy Le filed a suit against Magasin Café LLC, formerly known as Third Coast Restaurant Group LLC, and Monstrose Shop LLC in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is part of a partnership for the Montrose Shop. The suit states that the plaintiff was never paid for the buyout of her ownership. The defendants are accused of breach of agreement.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Seth J. Smiley, Bradley Aldrich, Matt Thomas and Donald A. Mau of Smiley Law Firm in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Ethel S. Julien.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case number 16-12123.
