Bank alleges contract customer owes more than $15,000

GRETNA – A bank is suing a contract customer, alleging he owes nearly $16,000 for unpaid monthly installments.

Crescent Bank & Trust filed a lawsuit Jan. 5 against Kellen McMillan in 24th Judicial District Court, alleging failure to pay sums due.

According to the claim, Crescent Bank executed a retail installment sale contract on May 7, 2013. The suit states McMillan has failed to pay the monthly installments that had been agreed upon in the contract and still owes $15,866.22, plus interest.

Crescent Bank & Trust seeks the unpaid fees, plus interest, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorneys Charles P. Blanchard and Amy T. McIntire of Chaffe McCall LLP in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle M. Taylor.
