Health system company alleges customer owes more than $1,000

GRETNA -- A health system company is suing a customer, alleging he owes more than $1,000.

Wesley Health System LLC, doing business as Merit Health Wesley of Mississippi, filed a suit Jan. 4 against Zachary C. Turnage in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an open account.

According to the claim, Merit Health Wesley issued goods to Turnage, along with a statement of charges due. The suit states Turnage has failed to pay off the balance of $1,183.95.

Merit Health Wesley seeks all unpaid fees, plus interest, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorney W. Simmons Sandoz of Sandoz Law Offices in Opelousas.

The case has been assigned to Division P Judge Lee V. Faulkner Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 767953.
