Bank alleges promissory note customer owes more than $52,000

GRETNA – A bank is suing a customer, alleging failure to to pay off more than $52,000.

Home Bank NA filed a lawsuit Jan. 12 against Rae Sabludowsky Lemon in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging failure to pay sums due.

According to the claim, Home Bank is the holder of a promissory note for the principal balance of $66,500. The suit states Lemon has failed to keep up with payments, and is still indebted for the balance of $52,296.94, plus interest.

Home Bank seeks all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorney Clay J. Legros of Newman, Mathis, Brady & Spedale in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 768104.
