GRETNA – Wells Fargo is suing a Jefferson Parish customer, alleging he owes more than $111,000.
Wells Fargo Bank NA filed a suit Jan. 12 against James F. Ramos Jr. of River Ridge in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging failure to pay off a note.
According to the claim, Wells Fargo is the holder of a promissory note dating to 2012 for a mortgage in the principal sum of $122,064. The suit states Ramos has breached the agreement through failing to keep up with payments as required and is still indebted to the plaintiff for $111,390.67, plus interest.
Well Fargo seeks the money due, attorney fees and court and sheriff costs. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Jason R. Smith of Dean Morris LLC in Monroe.
The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Stephen C. Grefer.
