Multiple individuals allege damages by LogistiCare Solutions LLC, Southeastrans Inc. and First Transit Inc.

NEW ORLEANS – Business owners or former owners of a transportation service allege they have been damaged because of a contract breach.

Kathy Allen, Lyndritka Armstrong, Debra Butler, Donald Butler, et al filed a complaint on Jan. 13 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana against LogistiCare Solutions LLC, Southeastrans Inc. and First Transit Inc. alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they suffered loss of income and/or earning potential and loss of professional reputation, inconvenience and humiliation because of the defendants' alleged actions. The plaintiffs holds LogistiCare Solutions LLC, Southeastrans Inc. and First Transit Inc. responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay plaintiffs proper millage rates and unilaterally altered contract terms without plaintiffs’ approval.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek compensatory and punitive damages and all other legal and equitable relief deemed proper by the court. They are represented by Ernest L. Jones of New Orleans.
