Capital One alleges credit card customer owes more than $3,500

GRETNA – Capital One is seeking credit card damages for more than $3,500.

Capital One Bank filed a lawsuit Jan. 23 against Manuel F. Pineda in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an open account.

According to the claim, Capital One issued a credit card to Pineda that was used to make a number of charges. The suit states Pineda has failed to pay off the balance of $3,680.46, plus interest and other charges.

Capital One Bank seeks all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Remy F. Symons of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.
