Capital One alleges credit card customer owes nearly $1,700

GRETNA – Capital One Bank is suing a credit card customer, seeking more than $1,500. 

Capital One Bank (USA) NA filed a suit Jan. 24 against Jeffrey Lopez in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an open account.

According to the claim, Capital One issued a credit card to Lopez with the understanding the balance of the card would be paid off periodically. The suit states Lopez has failed to pay off the balance of $1,690.28, as previously agreed upon.

Capital One Bank seeks all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorney Remy F. Symons of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius E. Regan.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 768399.
